Overstone Hall
Overstone hall is a grade II listed building on the outskirts of Northampton. It had 119 rooms and is surrounded by 35 acres of parkland and grounds. In 2001 a catastrophic fire destroyed 50% of the Hall and over the last 15 years the other half has deteriorated through vandalism and weather. In 2015 Fairline Homes purchased the Hall with the absolute intentions of saving and restoring it. With the assistance of a number of bodies including Daventry District Council, the OH Action Group, The Residents Association and Overstone Parish Council detailed plans are being drawn up to save the Hall. A small Army of Consultants are engaged in the detail of the task ahead. Structural Engineers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Enviromental, Highways and Planning Consultants are preparing a myriad of detailed information so that everyone will be able to see the way we plan to save the Hall. We will be making this information available through various links and portals over the coming months. One thing is for sure we have had fantastic support from all concerned about the Hall to find the solution to save it. There is enormous Good Will and we at Fairline Homes will do our bit to keep that Good Will firmly on track to get this Hall restored.
